One source of truth. Live. Shared.
Dashboards and reporting that leadership can actually trust — in real time, not after a week of spreadsheet wrangling.
The system leadership decides from.
If reporting takes days, decisions slow down to match. Business Intelligence is the layer of Operational Intelligence that turns the data flowing through your business systems into live, trusted, shared visibility — so revenue, retention and operational KPIs are reported once, owned by someone, and used to make calls instead of audited after the fact.
The four symptoms of flying blind.
Monday morning spreadsheets
Someone exports CRM, joins with finance, pivots in Excel — every week, every leader, every report.
Three dashboards, three numbers
Sales has one ARR figure. Finance has another. The board sees a third. Nobody knows which is right.
Lagging instead of leading
Your reports show what happened last quarter. They don't tell you what's about to break this one.
Self-service that nobody uses
You bought a BI tool. Three people log in. Everyone else still asks the data team for a screenshot.
Six things a real BI layer does.
We don't deliver "a Looker project." We ship modeled data, defined metrics, owned dashboards and the discipline that keeps them trustworthy week after week.
Executive dashboards in real time
Revenue, pipeline, retention and cash — one source, refreshed live, owned by one team.
Operational KPIs and SLAs
The metrics teams actually run on: cycle times, conversion, first-response, throughput — visible at the workflow.
Revenue and pipeline analytics
Conversion funnels, velocity, attribution, win/loss — the layer above CRM dashboards that explains why.
Data warehousing & semantic layer
A modeled, governed truth layer so every chart, BI tool and AI agent pulls from the same definitions.
Self-service reporting that gets used
Curated explore surfaces, clear ownership, simple metric definitions — BI built for the non-analyst.
Alerting and anomaly detection
The dashboard tells you when something changed — you don't have to refresh it to find out.
The closing layer of Operational Intelligence.
Business Intelligence sits at the top of the Operational Intelligence stack — it's how the operating model becomes legible. Without it, every other layer flies blind.

Business Intelligence, answered.
Do you build dashboards or pick a BI tool?
Both. We start with the questions leadership needs answered, then pick the simplest tool that answers them well — Metabase, Looker, Power BI, Tableau or Hex. The tool is usually less important than the data model, definitions and ownership underneath it.
We already have a BI tool nobody uses. Can you fix that?
Usually yes. The most common cause isn't the tool — it's missing semantic definitions, scattered ownership and no curated paths for non-analysts. We re-model, re-design and re-introduce.
How is this different from a data engineering project?
Data engineering builds pipes. BI in our sense is the discipline of turning pipes into decisions — modeling, definitions, dashboards, alerting, ownership and adoption. We do the engineering when needed, but the engineering is in service of the decisions.
Can you make our existing reports faster?
Usually yes — most slow reporting comes from un-modeled data, not slow tools. We model what's needed, push transformations upstream, and the reports stop taking a week.
