The problem

Sound familiar?

What firms fight every week without a connected intake and matter spine.

01

Qualified leads die in the inbox

Inquiries land with the receptionist, the website form, an attorney's email — and follow-up depends on whoever's free. Good cases slip to competitors.

02

Conflict checks are still manual

A spreadsheet check, a couple of emails — and the firm carries malpractice risk on every new matter.

03

Billable minutes go uncaptured

Attorneys reconstruct timesheets on Fridays. Realization drops because actual work is forgotten or rounded down.

04

Matter status is opaque

Clients call asking 'where is my case?' and staff has to dig through emails, the DMS, the case manager and the calendar to answer.

05

WIP and aging surprise partners

Pre-bills sit in attorneys' inboxes for weeks, A/R grows past 90 days, and partners only see it on quarterly reports.

06

Onboarding new associates is painful

There's no documented playbook. Every associate learns the firm's quirks by breaking them once.

FAQ

Got questions?

Do you replace Clio / MyCase / Filevine?
Usually no — we wrap them. The PM platform stays, and we sit on top to fix intake, partner visibility, automated docs and billing workflows. For specialty firms we sometimes build a custom matter spine instead.
How do you handle conflict checks?
We hook into your DMS and PM database to run automated conflict checks at intake. The intake team gets a clear pass/fail with the conflicting parties surfaced for partner review.
Is it secure and confidential?
Yes. SOC 2-aligned infrastructure, role-based access, audit logging, encryption in transit and at rest. We sign confidentiality agreements before discovery.
Will the e-sign retainer flow work for our state bar requirements?
Yes. We support DocuSign, Adobe Sign and other compliant providers. Engagement letter templates are versioned and audit-tracked.
How long to go live?
Most firm rollouts are 8–14 weeks: 2 weeks discovery, 6–10 weeks build, 2 weeks pilot. Larger firms with multiple practice groups skew longer.
What does it cost?
Firm operations builds typically range $12K–$50K depending on scope and integrations. We scope after the operational assessment.
